Cuts, color, shampoo, blow-dry, waxing and specializing in extensions (fusion and hot head extensions). Please don’t ask us to do a perm, we may not remember how J.

Quick reminder, we are booking up fast and we dedicate our attention to the clients who have an appointment and therefore can not accept walk in clientele at this time. So excited to introduce VIP booking system, book your appointment after your service and we can guarantee the allotted time for your next appointment. We will also not have any signage at or near the roadway; this is to foster the VIP status of your experience at your new salon.

We want to introduce you to some great additions and the continued traditions you have come to expect and enjoy. Expect to be pampered from the time you walk in until you leave. Everything we do is for you. The sole reason we exist is because you come back. Therefore, we are a customer service company that just happens to do rockin’ hair! You will have a few options for relaxing in our comfy waiting rooms with magazines or a favorite beverage while enjoying the upbeat music you have come to enjoy. If you are there for color….WOW! We have a surprise for you…Just wait! Maybe you just came for a wax or blow out? We have a room designed especially for you. Rock that new hair style and get some waxing done. Or come on gentlemen,  unibrow is no longer sexy, let us help you with that.  (So ladies, let us do the work for you, and make your man super sexy!)

God has been so good to us! In January of 2013, I was so booked and didn’t know what the next move would be for Hair By Adelle and the decision was made to bring Kristen in to the team. We have only grown bigger since then. This led to the new salon opening and now the addition of Bekah to our team. Wow, we are so so excited! I want to assure all of you, the quality and service you receive will only increase. Salon Adelle will not be the ordinary salon. Every stylist will go through extensive training and be “Certified by Adelle” before being released on their own. We have been very strict on our hiring and recruitment of stylists. I personally guarantee that everyone will leave having the best experience and hair care possible. You can be assured that no matter who does your hair, we will exceed your expectations. We understand that you are our #1 source of advertisement and we aim to please you. You could choose anyone to do your hair and you chose us and we don’t take that responsibility lightly. Thank you!

About Hair extensions  (Everything in a nutshell)

So I recieved this comment on my blog the other day that caught my attention after blogging about doing Hair Extensions in the salon… and it made me smile  …

“I’m glad that I have full thick hair and don’t need extensions.
Sometimes having lots of super thick hair is a pain in the butt,
but I just can’t ever imagine paying so much for some hair extensions.”

I can tell you exactly why she feels this way… and she even says it. Its because she already has thick, healthy hair. Over 3/4 of my clientele has really fine hair that just wont grow, or has had some severe damage to their hair due to over processing or colors on top of colors… Therefore giving them the reason to REALLY NEED hair extensions. In this case, I know I would pay ANYTHING to have great hair…especially if I am physically not able to grow it myself! Of course, all of you that have met me are thinking,”how does she know this??? She has really great hair already!” I know this because I have not always had good hair and needed extensions to help me grow my own hair out  Extensions gave me the confidence I needed to get through the really rough stage of growing my hair out, and also making me feel amazing about myself! To a woman, hair is everything!!! If you wake up and have a really bad hair day, it will ruin your whole day… I know a lot of you are shaking your heads thinking,”that is SO true!” It really is the truth! Thats the part about my job that I just LOVE!!! I love to give that extra confidence to a woman that has never experienced a GREAT hair day! Not only that, but being able to do it day after day looking great all the time. That is something that if you already have “good” hair, you will NEVER be able to understand.

And then… there is the price. After what I just said, I would pay anything to have great hair every single day! Even though some think my price is too high, or “outrageous”… I am much, much lower than our surrounding cities. I also plan on staying in the price bracket I am for as long as I possibly can!  I had someone tell me the other day…”Your prices are much too high since I know the cost of the hair. You are way over-charging” The only thing I have to say to that is…Do you walk into Ruth’s Chris steak house and demand to know why their steaks are $60 when Bilo sells them for $10 each??? No, you GO to Ruth’s Chris for the experience you will get, The training the chef has (even though you never see  him, he is the reason the food is so amazing)  the service you will receive and the pampering you feel while doing it. THAT is the reason my prices are what they are. I am not for everyone, and I am OK with that… With that being said, (big smile…) Here are 2 amazing women that I had this week.

 

 

 

 

One of the biggest questions I get so often is… Can extensions damage your hair? YES they CAN!!! I will be the firs to tell you that you cannot just go to anyone to get extensions done and expect that your experience and your hair are in good hands! I CAN however tell you that I do not just throw some extensions in your hair and send you out the door! Kristen and I are very educated and spend a LOT of time educating you and teaching you how to care for your new hair. There isn’t much to it, but a few wrong steps, and you are heading in the wrong direction and your hair can damage fast! This photo is from a girl that got them done in New York and the stylist told her it was fine to just come every 4 months to get a new set! First of all, anyone that tells you that your extensions will last you 4 months is lying! And second, look at how much tangling is there… who would EVER want to go through that? WE have a solution to this problem!!! WE want your hair to be healthier than when you initially got your extensions, and continue down the path of GREAT, HEALTHY HAIR!

As I reflect on my career in the hair business, I’m struck by two things: The overwhelming amount of true friendships developed over my career and the amount I have grown as a person and as a business owner.
I have come to a point in my life and career, that it is time to take that next leap of faith. Yesterday was my last day at Terry Ann’s Salon. It was such an amazing career move when I went there and I appreciate the lifelong friendships that we developed there. I will truly miss those wonderful, talented girls.
Starting Oct. 1st, I will now be at a new location at artistic cutters at 35 Rocky Slope Rd. Greenville. You can still expect the same outstanding service you have come to know and love. However, this experience will give you more of a private, relaxed atmosphere. (I will have my own private suite #144).
This will allow me to better serve you as clients, providing you a better level of service and attention. I will be able to offer more products to protect and improve your hair. I will further be able to schedule you in a timelier manner. My intentions are to hire an assistant for some of my tasks, which will free me up to concentrate on the quality of service your hair deserves.
I look forward to this new chapter in my life, and I embrace this as a great opportunity to serve you better!

Extensions in Greenville SC

Today was a special day for me! Let me tell you this story 🙂

Kimberly Cadden came in for a consult a few weeks ago from Columbia…Yes she drove 1.5 hours just to meet with me for 15 min! (For those of you in Anderson and Spartanburg…you have no excuse! lol) Anyways, she decided it would be a great investment for her. Today was her appointment and we got talking about why she wanted the extensions. She had briefly told me that she went to a stylist (dont know who) and this stylist burnt her hair off. Her hair was about my length  before this happened (bra strap length). Well needless to say she felt horrible about how she looked with her hair not looking good anymore.For us women, our hair…IS our day to day emotions!

The part that touched me the most is I caught her crying after we took her “after” photo of her hair. She was so happy to look in the mirror and see herself again. THIS is why I do what I do!!! She couldnt have said anything to me that would have made me feel this way…it was how she acted. I could tell that she was more thankful than she could ever explain!

I have many stories like this…but I usually dont share them on my bog simply because I get too busy and dont have time to write about every person…I apologize for that.

This is what makes me stand out from other extension artists… I care more about each one of my clients and how they feel about their hair and themselves than I could ever care about the money. I have to make a living somehow, but if I could make every single women feel this way about herself, no amount of money could compare to that!

Best Extensions in SC

Back in business!!! The hair is no longer on back order, so I am full swing back into business! Its been crazy at the salon, but I am doing my best to fit everyone in within 2 weeks. I am still however having a HUGE issue with women scheduling a consultation, then canceling the scheduled appointment OR just not showing up to it. Please understand that bc I am very busy I will not reschedule a canceled consultation appointment. I have plenty of women that are really serious, and I believe its worth my time to invest in those that are truly wanting to change their hair and lives for the better. 🙂 I treat my clients with the utmost respect and I put a lot of time and effort into each and every scheduled appointment. Therefore, I dont have the time for no-shows. This is not to be rude…only to say that I put a lot of time into the clients that I do have, and each one of them really appreciate that! 🙂
